For the word of God is alive and powerful. it is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.
It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God.
Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and is the one to whom we are accountable. Hebrews 4:12
Alive and Powerful, this is why I read the bible. Whenever I need a now word from God, I open my bible and there is ! A word that is Alive, and a word that is Powerful. The Word of God meets my needs every time I ask of the Lord. Why wouldn’t he give it to me? Here is why, in Galatians 4:6,7 ” And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts prompting us to call, Abba, Father. Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child and since you are are his Child, God has made you his heir.”
Whenever I speak the Word of God, I know what it can and will do.
