But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 NLT

Like Aaron, the brother of Moses and his sons were anointed and consecrated in the priest’s office. All born again Christians now hold the same office in the royal priesthood.

Question, what does this mean? In Numbers 6:22-27 will give you some insight.

Then the Lord said to Moses, ” Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessings:

‘May the Lord bless you and protect you.

May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’

Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.”

Christians listen to the Lord instructions and you will now know who and when to speak blessings upon God’s people.

This is our season to spread the gospel of Christ. We are the church, Jesus is the head. The Lord want all born again believers to be blessed.
